hmm...do you think this is the FINAL album version? sounds like a rough demo to me....especially around the chorus, his vocals arent strong enough for me to believe this is final. Whats everyone else think?

I agree not only do the words "love lockdown" sound weak, but it doesn't sound on beat on some of the chorus parts, even towards the end the drums don't come in right on the beat. it also sounds like Kanye is clapping to the beat in the studio when singing "love lockdown". I mean Kanye is a perfectionist, and everything he puts out is "on point" I feel this song is gunna be true fire, but I don't feel this is the final album version. If you listen to the beginning really close when it's just the bass line, you can hear in the background a piano sound for like a second, it sounds out of place and like it was an accident, another reason why I think this couldn't be the final product.

yea, im nearly 100percent sure that this isnt the final product. i remember a while back when the unreleased version of stronger was put out. you could def. tell the difference between the album version and that unreleased version. he probably still has to go through the audio engineers n such as week as some tweaks here n there. dont worry,the final product is gunna be dope. at lest hes givin us somthin 2 bump other then the live track lol

I am a huge Kanye fan, and this is NOT good, I like Swagger Like US alot actually. But this is terrible , the vocals are off , the chorus , this is just bad. We cannot let him release stuff like this and think it is ok... because its NOT!. Im sorry, i loved literally everything he has released before this, but this is BAD. Luckily I heard "Heartless", and that song gives me reason to hope.

I like the whole concept of the song though.. it's dope!.. I def think this is the demo version than the final product..

Fix the vocals damn it. Damn over use the auto tune if your gonna use it at all (which I think you shouldn't) and really sing it. Don't make it sound emo.

I usually don't jump on bandwagons, but I have to agree with the majority on this one, this needs to be mastered and mixed. I know Kanye is a perfectionist, but then why would he post this on his blog? I understand the track is in high demand right now, but we could wait. I'd rather listen to quality than something that aims low and hits the mark momentarily. I really hope he comes to his senses or at the very least reads these blogs, hopefully he'll hit the studio and retouch the track. If he doesn't, then something beautiful and legendary in Hip-Hop that could've been will never be, unfortunately. This track is so ground-breaking, it's like the "smells teen spirit" - Nirvana, or "the times they are changing" - Dylan, of our generation. PLEASE, don't let us down Kanye.

lol definately unmastered, not only is he not singin lovelockdown right, he's tryna catch the beat during the chorus, but other than the chorus i really think this will hit top like stronger

of course its a demo, it sounds like he recorded it as he was writing it and someone through autotune on it without knowing how to use it. No producer in the world would put that out on a record

Couple of things...
1st. Stop repeating the same thing as it is obvious that its a rough draft of the real thing.(You dont have to repeat it in every post)
2nd. Auto tune is whats being used by everyone at the momment(Lil Wayne, T pain, etc..) If you dont like it then dont listen to it.. even though you still WILL buy his cd when it drops and will probably have alotta songs used with auto tune.
3rd. Every artist tried new things and usually switch it up.If he sticks with the same old stuff his stuff will start to sound like 50 cents same old re-used beats and songs...
4. If he says this is his favorite song hes made to date then let it be his favorite song. Just cuz you dont like it doesnt mean hes gonna change it up JUST for YOU... This stuff hes puttin out is in reflection of the stuff hes gone through in the last year especially his mom... RIP.

6. Swagger like us, jockin jay-z, and heartless are also very good songs with very catchy beats, hooks, etc.. now adays thats what people like.I personally like to listen to the lyrics but u need something to bump at the club.
7. This is probably gonna be one of his best albums yet. Also the most meaningful to him.
8. To the guy that supposedly "Tweaked" the song... yea thats not a tweak. You simply raised the volume on the chorus.(which sounded horrible by the way)Please dont tell me your a DJ cuz that was just a bad idea to post on here.
9. Just cuz u wear Bape, wear the glasses, and claim to be the biggest fan dont mean you have any kind of a musical ear. HAHA actually its funny as crap "if your a real fan theres no way in hell you wold like this?" LOL WOW. 10. for the guy who said someone extracted the vocals from the live performance... yea if you listened to the live performance versus the Download they have on here he sings the song totally different after every word!

I’m a big Ye fan & even I’m pissed off bout this. If this is the final draft I will loose a lot of my respect for YE. The instrumentals are brilliant tho, sumtin new no other Ye song sounds like this.
