The Zen Grey Air Yeezys will be released tomorrow.

The Making of the Air Yeezy
Mar23/2009

Kanye West: I’ve always stressed my passion for design—and not just, “Oh, let me throw my name on this,” but to use my celebrity as an opportunity to jump into the design world—and in this case, to design my own shoe.
Mark Smith: Creative Dir. of Special Projects, Nike: I don’t really put my life in dates in a normal way. [Laughs.] So I couldn’t even say when everything went down, but one day I got a call asking me if I would work with Kanye on the project.
Kanye West: It was after the Air Force 1 “1 Night Only” event [in December 2006]. I sat there and drew countless forms of shoes, and a lot of them were inspired by Back to the Future, by the McFlys or whatever people call them—I just call them the Mags. All kinds of different ideas that stemmed from that and Robotech and all my other anime influences.
Mark Smith: What we wanted to do was really create something that was specific and unique to the two of us working together, so it wasn’t an entourage full of people on either side.

Past Tell Museum
Oct21/2008

The Pastelle (Kanye West’s upcoming brand) website has been update. Gone is the playful multicolor logo that we saw before and more subtle set of icons have replaced it and the pastelle.com site now forwards to pasttellmuseum.com. The same transition in style that we see recently on Kanye West and in his music, seems to be happening to the unreleased brand. Is this the actual Pastelle logo? Has the brand name changed to “Past.Tell.Museum”? We don’t know, but will definitely keep you posted.

Pastelle x Ksubi Sunglasses
May08/2008

(from HypeBeast.com)
Pastelle, the much much anticipated clothing label from Kanye West, has been very discreet. But finally, now we get glimpse of its sunglass collaboration with Ksubi, an Australian fashion label known amongst many celebrities. Ksubi designer, George Gorrow, first worked with Kanye in 2006 to create stage eyewear for his music videos. The line will be launched in October and will feature a limited edition gold frame sunglasses that will go for around $2000.
This is definitely a collaboration worth waiting for, as it seems like Kanye and George Gorrow make for a strong team as Kanye says, "I love the sunnies Ksubi has produced over the years, and it's an honour to collaborate with them on this first installment of Pastelle frames, George is an incredibly talented designer, and I've never met anyone who knew more about sunglasses and other cool stuff."

It seems like Kanye West got together with Reebok. Under the S.Carter (Jay-Z) collection, they collaborated on three sneakers. The model comes in three colorways, with each one featuring the Kanye West bear head on the back side.
