|
janet it re-doing some of his vocals |

looks like theyre all rapping the same rap, lika choir? LL wrote it too, as epic as that sounds and how itll display unity, i wonder if that will actually sound good, considering each rapper obviously has a much different voice from the other, http://www.xxlmag.com/online/?p=69583 XXLMag.com: Can you break it down like how the song was recorded? Nipsey Hussle: The singing part, everyone was doing individual tracks on top of the group tracks. Like, Justin Bieber would do his, the girl from the Pussycat Dolls would do hers, Busta did his and they would just stack it on top of each other like how you do a hook. But as far as the rapping, LL did the original lead vocal for the rap. Everybody rapped the same verse, we stacked our vocals and then after, LL, will.i.am went it, then Jamie Foxx, Snoop, myself. And what it was, after we laid our vocals in the studio, we all got together to record the visual, and that’s when everybody had their individual mic and we rapped it at the same time. As far as the recording, everybody did it individually and for the video part of it, everybody had their own mic and it was kind of like a choir type situation. ^^^^ good interview btw, he explains how he got the chance to be there cuz he's good friends with Quincy Jones' son, whose a producer |

not to be critical but that sounds like its gonna be shitty i dont see how that would sound good, i never enjoy doubled vocals, and there doing like 3/4 with different people |
| im a lil worried about it too, but its Quincy whos produced, i trust the man, n im sure all the rappers checked their ego at the door, so theyll try to make it all fit as best as they can, if nothing at all, its a great idea, but we'll see on the 12th if its a good outcome or not, either way, this kindve has me excited |
| im excited too just to see how it turns out. i would just like it to be good, even if its for a good cause i prefer it no to be shit |

are there any rock artist on the song? everytime i se eit mention, its pop/r&b/and rap artist i see listed, i just listened to the original, n it seems like its missing the rock genre artist |
|
lionel said that the now generation is more based on hip hop r&b and pop so thats why theres more of that back then it was all about rock and roll which is why you see that on the one form 85 |
| dayum, thats kinda true and disappointing |
