You think the early leak was better? I'm going to be real with you, I never listened to the original leak. I held off because of the poor quality, and there was early talk that it was unfinished. It was confirmed by the band (and when the final version came out) - that the early leak was not finished. I never listened to both, so I can't compare. I've heard from a friend that he thought the final version was better. But you know how these things go. Some people prefer an album before it's been finished, as they feel bands tend to over-do things in the studio sometimes. I guess the way I see it, even if the album was better in the early leak (hypothetically) -the fact that the quality is so low, kind of takes away from the album. |
