Rhymefest - Bounce

Fakeshoredrive, has recently gotten a hold of “Raw Dawg”: A rare EP by rapper Rhymefest, which was released around 2002.
One of the songs from the EP - Bounce - is not only produced and featured by Kanye, but also contains an iconic line from the beginning of the first verse of “Jesus Walks”.
“You know what the Midwest is? Young & Restless. Where restless niggas might snatch your necklace and next these niggas might jack your Lexus.”

I alway like listening to old Kanye pre-CD. Thanks for the song.
this is not new information… i’ve had that song for years now… i’d expect lots of people on this site to have it… my quality is way better too… i’m not bragging, it’s just that for a kanye “fan site” - the news should be relevant… most fans know rhymefest wrote that line and also gave kanye the sample that was used for “jesus walks”. this spawned a whole petition to try to get kanye’s grammys taken away (which is obviously unjustified)… anyway, the story is about 4 years late… i’ve had this song since around college dropout came out

You make me feel like such a n00b… lol. I hadn’t heard this song until a few days ago when it was posted on the forums.
well andrew if you had songs like that why didn’t u post it in the forum…..stop downtalking the forum and help it out….
but i was gonna say somethin about the line in jesus walks….i guess kanye did that a lot with some of his freestyles…..take them and put them on a different beat coughcoughhomecomingcoughcough lol
