    I don’t think it’s because people only want rap but it’s because people love kanye as a rapper and, let’s face it, he isn’t the best singer around. If you listen to College Dropout and then Graduation it’s easy to see why some people are disappointed with his new direction.
    If you love Coldplay and then they suddenly start making death metal you’d be like WTF?!?? :-\

    i agree with u dr. freestyle6. i also agree with u sgott. but i also think some people can never be satisfied u know. like sometimes nothing is enough for some people. im a HUGEEEEEEE kanye fan. hes my favorite rapper and someone i look up 2 and my idol and all that good stuff. liek some people on the forum i was expecting the song to kick in and pick up but it never did. thats not to say i didnt like it. i fucking love it. its really growing on me and i like the drums and this new direction kanye is going in. i dont know about all this heavy singing hes gonna be doing on the new album but i have no doubt it will be veryyyy good nonetheless and im looking forward to it.

    I love Kanye to death as an artist and even though I am starting to like this song I think this a bullshit single and I think anybody who uses the vocoder is an asshole who wants to make lame catchy hooks with no real meaning and personally if this keeps up like this with some actually respected musician using that thing well then we’re just getting one step closer to bringing back disco. I just hope he changes the lyrics because though I like this song the lyric are garbage and I don’t want another “I Wonder” (great instrumental but fucking stupid lyrics) on this next album. And for the record he did not kill that vocoder better than T-Pain go fuck yourselves you extremist Ye fans.

I feel like he’s trying 2 hard 2 find a new direction 4 dis album. He should take his time to get it right cuz da new song should not be a first single.     Thanks for making the point man. It’s an okay song but this is just “whatever” as a Kanye song.

    I don’t know if they devote whole songs with singing only. If you’re talking about having some singing you can add Snoop Dogg to that too.. At the same token, T-Pain raps a little in some songs but I wouldn’t call him a rapper.

    Im obsessed with this song, but not im a good way. I beat is great and all that, and I was vibing with it up until the hook. the chorus is so bad, especially the studio version. I hope this isnt the direction he’s going in, because I havent like what he’s been going post Graduation. He’s taking the autotune way too far.
