The people who are disappointed by the performance most likely have no understanding of the New 80's vibe that is truly a unique musical expression. Kanye's live performance incorporates technology, which I think is very difficult to do flawlessly. If you recall he did use the same vocal styling at the MTV Awards and that performance was epic. It’s difficult for some people to appreciate it because people tend to pin hole artists into one category.
Kanye, I think you are so lucky to have achieved the level of success that you have and you deserve to continue evolving as an artist. Happy New Year!!!
