    God damn it....I'm so sick of auto tune. I'd MUCH, MUCH rather listen to Kanye really sing. Spaceship is dope, and one of my favorite old Kanye tracks, and he sings just fine on that IMHO.

    I have a bad feeling about this; I love Ye for his rhymes and dope beats i.e. Two Word, Crack Music, Everything I Am.

    808's & Heartbreak sounds like Ye is departing from what i love best, i've tried so hard to get into Love Lockdown, but you have to admit that when you heard it you didn't feel the same as when you first heard "Through The Wire" or "Diamond From Sierra Leone" or even "Stronger".

    I will cope the album; but i think this will prove that kanye is like many others of my fav rappers; their is some of their stuff i don't like.

    im glad hes doin a different style - dont get me wrong, i love his work up to date, but an artist of his quality an creativity shouldnt stick or limit himself to one style, an so im glad hes branchin out an tryin different stuff. i personally dont mind the auto-tone use, tho obviously a whole album of that would be a bit weird! but wateva, i trust ye - id rather see him redefine how we see him an how others see him. iv got friends who say "hes jus another rapper speakin to music", but if love lockdown is anythin to go by, hes about to change all that! im gonna be honest an say that wen i first heard it i was a bit like "....ok thats different", but a couple of hours afta a first heard it, the tune started eerily playin in my mind and it slowly got under my skin an i love it so much now! im happy cos i live in the UK an am seein him in sheffield in november - am guessin he'll be performin this and more from the new album as its closer to its supposed release! saw him last year in london - i was front row standin centre - absolutely blown away! keep it up ye!

    808 is also the area code in Hawaii where he is recording this album. I feel like 'Ye is kinda just going with what is hot right now and trying to sell those records. Lil Wayne sells a million copies in the first week using mostly the AutoTune for his choruses. Besides Wayne the most popular hook man out right now is T-Pain and his damn voice synthesizer. I absolutely hate that thing but I have faith in the best rapper in the game right now. How could you not with tracks like "The Glory", "Everything I Am", and "Homecoming" and thats just from Graduation. This album could be hip hop's savior. With that autotune so popular right now he could get his good deep shit on to the radios and revolutionize the game. With people looking to Kanye for his lyrics and not just his crazy good beats hip-hop might just get resusitated. Although this kills me to do, I'm gonna quote Lil Wayne "Doctor Kanye West is one of the brightest". Lets hope for the best, cop that album for real

    I'm Loving LOVE LOCKDOWN! I feel this just like I felt Hey Mama and all of the other songs! I feel the pain in this song. I havent heard the full album but Love Lockdown has me ready to buy it. I've always felt like Kanye was spitting my life and talking to me in every song because I could relate and Love Lockdown is going with how I'm feeling now with my relationship.     808's is referring to the drum machine he's using. This is supposed to be his concept album. Ye's 'electric circus' so to speak. It's experimental. As for the college series, more could be in store for that franchise. Who knows. The vocoder/auto-tune effect is what's hot right now. I think it's being over used but that's just my opinion. This album should be interesting. I think both love lockdown and heartless feel rushed. Good but could have been better. But you can only do so much with an 808. lookin forward to it
